Building Sim Rigs That Solve Real Problems — Not Create New Ones

At 3R Simworks, we’re building something simple: sim racing hardware that’s engineered to last, designed to fit real setups, and built by people who understand the sport from the inside out.

We’re a fabrication‑driven startup based in Northern Ontario, and while we’re not in market yet, we’re deep into development on a modular steel rig platform and a lineup of accessories built around durability, rigidity, and clean industrial design. We spend our days in the shop and our nights behind the wheel, and that combination shapes everything we build.

Why We’re Doing This

Most sim rigs look good in a product photo. Fewer hold up under real‑world use.
We’ve seen the same problems come up again and again:

  • pedal decks that flex under load
  • seats that never quite line up
  • accessory mounts that feel like an afterthought
  • rigs that twist under high‑torque wheelbases

These issues aren’t minor annoyances — they break immersion and limit performance. As fabricators, we know these problems are solvable with the right materials, the right geometry, and the right priorities.

Designing With the Community, Not in Isolation

We’re building 3R Simworks with a simple principle: listen first, fabricate second.

Before we finalize our production models, we want to understand what actually matters to the people who use this equipment every day. If you’ve ever fought with pedal fitment, swapped seats more times than you’d like to admit, or tried to mount an accessory that just didn’t belong anywhere, you know exactly where the pain points are.

Your input helps us refine the details that make a rig worth bolting down.

What We’re Working Toward

Our focus is on:

  • rigidity that stands up to modern direct‑drive forces
  • modularity that adapts to different driving styles and hardware
  • clean, industrial design rooted in real fabrication practices
  • compatibility that doesn’t require custom brackets or compromises

We’re not interested in gimmicks. We’re interested in building equipment that feels right, performs right, and lasts.

Help Us Build Something Better

As we continue development, we’re inviting the sim racing community to share what you wish more rig builders considered. What’s missing from your current setup? What problems have you had to engineer around yourself? What would you change if you could start from scratch?

Your feedback shapes our next steps.

We’re excited to build, test, refine, and eventually launch something that earns its place in your setup.
